Lee County, USA – Last Friday night, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Yellow Fever Creek Preserve to assist a park ranger in locating a missing hiker.
The hiker, 85-year-old Dora Weltlinger, had become disoriented while walking along a trail and was reported missing.
Deputies on the ground combed through dense wooded areas while the Aviation Unit provided aerial support, coordinating closely to cover the preserve’s thick vegetation.
