Debris Clearance Opens Lifeline Road For Aid Trucks In Gaza

Gaza – This week, the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) worked with an international organization to clear debris from a major road that is critical to the flow of humanitarian aid in central Gaza.

The video shows clearing operations on Salah-Al-din Road, a vital north-to-south logistical route used to move goods and assistance across Gaza.

More than 40 nations and international organizations represented at the CMCC are coordinating efforts to deliver and distribute commercial goods and humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.

Over the past week, international partners have delivered a daily average of nearly 800 trucks worth of aid, an increase from the previous daily average of 600 trucks in earlier weeks.

The timely delivery and distribution of humanitarian assistance remain essential for the stabilization of Gaza and for progress towards peace.
