Hamburg, Germany – A video recorded by X user Oxa Solov documents a solemn vigil held outside City Hall on the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks that killed 1,200 Israelis and abducted 251, sparking the Gaza war.

Participants waved Israeli flags and carried orange balloons while displaying photographs of hostages, including Noa Argamani, Itay Chen, and the Berman family. Banners read “Bring Them Home” and “Remember October 7, 2023: Hundreds Murdered Jews, 50 Hostages.”

Signs at the vigil condemned the rise of antisemitism — which has doubled in Germany since 2023 — and demanded the immediate release of the hostages.
