Ji’an, China – A 400-pound cow got stuck in a utility well overnight, leaving rescuers racing against time to save it.

The day before, three cows were seen calmly grazing. The next morning, one was missing. Following the sound of moos, rescuers found the missing cow trapped inside an electrical well.

The cow’s eyes seemed to plead silently for help.

Firefighters from Ji’an quickly arrived on the scene. They tied a rope around the cow and carefully pulled it out of the well.

The cow was safe and sound after the risky rescue.

“Close call, but we made it,” seemed to be the message from the relieved animal.
