Coral Springs, Florida – Bodycam footage from the Coral Springs Police Department shows officers going above and beyond to assist a stranded driver whose car ran out of gas.

The officers were initially called to respond to a broken-down vehicle at the intersection of Royal Palm Boulevard and University Drive on April 21.

When they arrived, the man explained he had already called roadside assistance and was waiting for a tow. He then shared that he had been living out of his car for a year.

With no gas, the man faced a long wait for help. However, the officers decided they couldn’t leave him stranded.

“Let’s hope this is enough,” the officer said as he helped the man.

The driver expressed his gratitude, thanking the officers for their kindness.

The officers reassured him, telling him, “The best part from here, it’s only going up.”
