San Jose, California – CAL FIRE SCU successfully completed two days of controlled burns at Calero County Park as part of a live fire project.

On Day 1, fire crews ignited the planned burns and remained in the area through the afternoon to monitor conditions. The operation was completed for the day as scheduled.

The following morning, the burns resumed. By the end of Day 2, the burning was completed again, with fire personnel continuing patrols in the area.

The coordinated efforts by multiple agencies ensured the safe execution of both days, marking a successful fire management and training event.
