Waldport, Oregon – A U.S. Coast Guard aircrew from Air Station North Bend rescued a man after his boat became disabled and capsized in the waters off Waldport on September 23, 2025.

The man was safely hoisted into the Coast Guard helicopter and transported to a local hospital for evaluation by emergency medical services.

The quick response by the aircrew ensured the man’s safety in potentially dangerous conditions off the Oregon coast.
