Red Fish Bay, Texas – A U.S. Coast Guard aircrew from Air Station Corpus Christi rescued a man after his 18-foot skiff overturned in rough weather on August 20, 2025.

The vessel capsized near Red Fish Bay, leaving the individual in distress. Responding quickly, the Coast Guard deployed an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter to the scene.

The aircrew hoisted the stranded boater into the aircraft and transported him safely to Air Station Corpus Christi.
