Guánica, Puerto Rico – A U.S. Coast Guard aircrew rescued three boaters after their vessel became disabled near Gilligans Island.

The 26-foot boat lost propulsion and began drifting toward a reef on May 29, 2025.

A Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen crew responded quickly and safely rescued all three individuals.

No injuries were reported.

The vessel was returned to shore without further incident.
