Sallent de Gallego, Spain – Two climbers were rescued on the Balcones de Anayet climbing route by the GREIM and Guardia Civil Air Unit.

One of the climbers suffered a fractured tibia during the ascent.

The rescue operation was carried out in the rugged terrain of the Sallent de Gallego area.

The injured climber was safely evacuated with aerial support.

Both climbers are now out of danger thanks to the swift coordination between mountain rescue and air units.
