Union Jacks and St George’s flags whipped in the wind behind metal barriers while a yellow stage broadcasted speeches about pressure on the NHS and calls for “deportations.”

Across the police line, counter-protesters waved Palestinian and rainbow flags and held anti-racism signs, shouting back at the crowd. The atmosphere was charged but controlled in the footage, showing no major clashes.

However, reports from the scene described moments of unrest, including bottles thrown and brief road blockages as emotions ran high.
