Southampton, United Kingdom – Rain poured over Hoglands Park as around 500 anti-immigration protesters gathered outside the Highfield House Hotel, a site used for housing migrants. The rally, led by Tommy Robinson, filled the grey afternoon with chants, flags, and tension.
Union Jacks and St George’s flags whipped in the wind behind metal barriers while a yellow stage broadcasted speeches about pressure on the NHS and calls for “deportations.”
Across the police line, counter-protesters waved Palestinian and rainbow flags and held anti-racism signs, shouting back at the crowd. The atmosphere was charged but controlled in the footage, showing no major clashes.
However, reports from the scene described moments of unrest, including bottles thrown and brief road blockages as emotions ran high.
The video, filmed amid steady rain and flashing police lights, spread quickly online for its raw portrayal of anger and division in a quiet Southampton suburb.
