Benasque, Spain – The Civil Guard team conducted a successful rescue operation on May 4th to assist an injured skier on Maladetas Peak.
The operation began with the team taking off from their base to locate the skier. Once found, the injured skier, who had suffered a knee injury, was safely transferred to the Civil Guard base for further treatment.
The rescue was carried out by the GREIM (Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group) of the Civil Guard, showcasing their specialized skills in handling emergency situations in the mountains.
