China Successfully Launches Tianping-3 A02 Satellite

Taiyuan, China – Today, China successfully launched the Tianping-3 A02 satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The launch utilized a Long March 6 carrier rocket, which lifted off without issues.

The satellite reached its predetermined orbit smoothly, marking the mission as a complete success. This achievement highlights China’s ongoing advancements in space technology.

Tianping-3 A02 is designed to calibrate ground radar equipment and measure Radar Cross Section (RCS). It will also support imaging tests for ground optical devices.

Additionally, the satellite will aid in low-orbit space environment monitoring and detection experiments. It provides data for atmospheric space environment measurements and helps refine orbit prediction models.

The launch strengthens China’s capabilities in space research and surveillance. It is another milestone for the nation’s ambitious aerospace program.
