East Lee County, FL – A disturbing video has captured Dominic Fisher placing a sleeping child in a chokehold, leading to his arrest Tuesday night.

The footage shows Fisher entering the child’s room while he sleeps, grabbing him around the neck, and holding him in the chokehold for several seconds. Sheriff Carmine Marceno called the video “beyond disturbing” and condemned the act. “I’m disgusted by this low-life and his senseless act against an innocent sleeping child. We will do everything we can to ensure this man faces the harshest penalties possible,” he said.

Authorities report that the child is expected to make a full physical recovery. Fisher offered no explanation for his actions.

He has been charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse. The video serves as a stark visual record of the crime and has been central to the investigation.
