Bridge Collapse Kills 7, Injures 47 in Moscow Disaster

Moscow, Russia – A catastrophic bridge collapse has injured 47 people, including three children, and claimed seven lives, per VTsMK reports. All victims are receiving emergency medical aid.

Rescue operations continue as crews work to restore damaged railway tracks. Two repair trains and two engineering units are dismantling bridge fragments to clear the lines.

Around 180 specialists and 60 units of equipment are tackling the disaster, underscoring its severity.

MChS psychologists are supporting affected train passengers, providing emergency aid in 22 cases. They are assisting hospitalized victims and those arriving in Moscow.

Crews have cleared three train cars and a locomotive from the tracks. Following safety protocols, specialists demolished dangling bridge parts and are removing large debris.

MChS has deployed 72 specialists and 12 units of equipment. Rescue teams have cleared debris and metal from the railway.

Train services are set to resume soon, with repair work continuing tomorrow.
