St. Louis, Canada – Firefighters from the St. Louis Fire Department are on the front lines of the La Ronge Pisew fire.

They have been tasked with asset protection, facing wildland, structure, and commercial fires.

These strong firefighters are doing everything they can to help the people of La Ronge and the surrounding area.

Two more members will be sent tomorrow as mutual aid for the Wakaw and Hoodoo Fire Department.

The department’s fire truck, R1, will stay in the North, staffed by new members as the current team is relieved.

Despite the destruction, St. Louis firefighters continue to fight back against the devastation.
