Brady, Nebraska, USA – On September 12, 2025, at 6:51 PM, deputies responded to an injury accident on Highway 30 in Brady.
Video from the scene shows Brady Johnson, who was outside his vehicle washing his windshield, narrowly escaping a rolling car. The car struck the front of his truck, deflecting its path and hitting only his lower leg, narrowly avoiding a fatal impact.
The driver of the car was transported to Great Plains Health with minor injuries by the Brady Fire Department. Johnson’s truck and a nearby street light pole were also damaged.
A Lincoln County Accident Reconstructionist investigated the crash. The driver is expected to be cited for Reckless Driving, as their minimum speed was at least 65 mph in a 40 mph zone. Additional citations include No Operator’s License, No Proof of Insurance, and Expired Registration.
