Tacoma, Washington – A Bernese Mountain Dog was rescued after getting stuck on cold, wet rocks at Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park.

Someone contacted Tacoma Police, and officers arrived at the scene.

They gently lifted the dog to safety.

The dog later “posted” a thank-you message on the Tacoma Police Department’s Facebook page.

Police took the dog to the Humane Society, where it was reunited with its humans.
