Coral Springs, Florida – After more than 80 days in the NICU at Broward Health Coral Springs, Baby Kate finally graduated and is going home. She arrived three months early, born at 27 weeks old and weighing just 1 pound, 9 ounces, considered a micro preemie. Thanks to the expert care of doctors and nurses at the newly upgraded Level III NICU, Kate grew stronger every day. Now, Kate, a healthy 5 pounds, 5 ounces baby, is ready to start life at home in Miramar with no complications.
