Pordenone, Italy – U.S. Army Paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade carried out an airborne operation on March 19, 2025. They jumped from a U.S. Air Force 86th Air Wing C-130 Hercules aircraft, landing at Juliet Drop Zone.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade serves as the U.S. Army’s Contingency Response Force in Europe. It provides fast, deployable forces to support United States European, African, and Central Command regions.

Based in Italy and Germany, the brigade is forward deployed. It regularly trains with NATO allies and partners to strengthen ties and build stronger alliances.
